The picture above is of wood that did not have drip edge and eventually rotted. Drip edge (as seen on the right) comes standard on every job and will protect the unseen wood behind your gutters and around your eaves from the harmful effects of water.
We replace plastic and metal turtle vents (picture above left) with shingle- over continuous ridge vent. Ridge vent provides greater ventillation for your roof and gives a more aesthetic look. Ridge vent is also the best and most efficient way to ventillate cathedral ceilings.
We replace rubber and plastic (seen above left) with lead pipe boots and then paint the lead pipe boot to match your roof. Rubber and plastic pipe boots after 10-15 years dry rot which leads to leaks whereas lead pipe boots last forever.
